No. The ratio math is machine agnostic and works for any home slush machine. Slushable tells you whether a batch will slush; your machine just freezes it.
Usually the mix is too concentrated — too much sugar or alcohol lowers the freezing point so it stays liquid. Dilute with water to bring the slush point back into range.
Yes. The calculators treat alcohol as antifreeze and tell you how much extra sugar to add so spiked batches still freeze with the right texture.
