Ninja SLUSHi recipe questions

SharkNinja's official FS300-series guidance asks for at least 4% sugar in every input, and Slushable targets 12–16° Brix for spoonable texture. Every recipe on this page already sits in that zone, so nothing freezes solid or stays watery.

Yes, on the spiked programs. The FS301 accepts premade inputs between 2.8% and 16% ABV, and the XL, Max, and Twist list support for cocktails up to 20%. The frozen cocktails curated above are balanced so the finished hopper stays in the freezable range on every model.

You don't need one. This page and the Slushable recipe library are free, every recipe carries its Brix and ABV worked out for a home machine, and the free Slushable app scales any of them to your exact machine and guides the freeze.

Yes. The FS300-series machines include a Milkshake program for dairy mixes, wine works once the batch is rebalanced with sugar and dilution, and creamy alcohol-free options like piña colada freeze on the standard slush program.

The ratios work in every model — only the batch size changes. A 1.85L batch fills the original FS301's 64 oz max fill; scale up for the XL (96 oz) or Max (112 oz), and down to about 1.4L per vessel for the dual-vessel Twist.

Explore our Ninja SLUSHi milkshake and frappé hub for ingredients, presets and café-style drinks. For a failed batch, our Ninja SLUSHi milkshake troubleshooting guide covers preset choice, serving time, and what to check when a dairy drink turns thin, icy or foamy.
